Malcolm Gaskin
I’m very optimistic about advertising. A strong simple idea, a great execution, talking to the right people in the right place, always succeeds. A fresh brief still excites me.
I started out with this thought firstly at Leo Burnett London as an art director. I then moved to TBWA London and eventually rose to be its creative director, and built an award winning department.
Next I helped found my own agency group Woollams Moira Gaskin O’Malley, where I learned over 8 years the business of building a business. After selling the agency, I’ve been working with leading agencies and direct with clients, where I’ve perfected working across borders, disciplines and cultures. Places like BBH, DDB International, EURO RSCG, JWT International, MVBMS New York, MVBMS FUEL Amsterdam, Ogilvy, WCRS, and 141 International.
Part of this time I set up an events and new product development company called SYNC. During this period I was privileged to work with some brilliant creatives, planners, production and account people. I also found that most clients were always a joy to work with.
I pride myself in producing work that works, that increases value for a client and enhances the reputation of the agency. Always on time, and always to budget.
Many awards have come my way and with a keen passion for the business I have been a past president of the Advertising Creative Circle and am a current committee member. I have been a D&AD committee member and was asked to design one of their famous annuals, the 1983, ‘Inflatable” one.
If you have a project that needs some expert help or just to discuss the possibilities of development please call. I’ll be excited.
